Critique of Pure Reason

This course does not retell the four parts in order. It takes the book apart as a device: from 'judgements of this kind do hold' it reasons back to their conditions of possibility, then seals every conclusion inside those conditions. Each step is either a premise Kant chose, something that follows from his own definitions, or a textual claim refutable by the original; and the course says where this reading gives a confident and wrong answer. The A edition (1781) and the B edition (1787) differ widely, so wherever a reading turns on wording, both are checked. The last chapter audits the first six. It is an independent re-explanation based on a public-domain translation; most examples are our own and quotations name their section.

结构交底
本课交付的结构
Reasoning back to conditions of possibility, through replacing 'what is the world like' with 'what makes this knowledge possible', turns an unsettleable dispute into an inspection of process.
It carries to any case where a conclusion's generality outruns the sample in hand: ask which step produced it. It fails where the process itself is optional — non-Euclidean geometry is the case Kant did not foresee.
核心承诺
01Ask what makes it possible Faced with a claim, do not start with whether it is true; start with what has to hold for knowledge of this kind to be had at all.
02Thinkable is not knowable Beyond possible experience thought can still move and knowledge cannot; this is a boundary rule, not a prohibition.
03One word, two levels Appearance and thing in itself are two views of the same things, not two sets of things; running the levels together is the commonest way to crash in this book.
掌握路径
L1Restate and bound
学完能
  • Say what 'how are synthetic a priori judgements possible' is reasoning back to
  • Say which side space and time are put on, and what that costs
L2Separate definition from text
学完能
  • Tell whether a step is Kant's premise, a consequence of his definitions, or a textual claim
  • Point to where an unpacked condition is presented as a discovery
L3Find the cracks and connect
学完能
  • Say why resolving the antinomies is a boundary move rather than a verdict
  • Say whether this course replaces, constrains or adds to your existing structure
