How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes
This course does not retell the island fable. It takes the fable apart as an argument: which assumptions of Austrian capital theory are holding it up, whether each step is chosen, true by definition, or refutable by data, and where the framework gives a confident and wrong answer. The last chapter audits the first six, including the places where the conclusion was right but the reasoning was not.
结构交底
本课交付的结构
It carries to personal skill, corporate R&D and public infrastructure; it fails where capacity adjusts instantly and costlessly, or sits idle for long stretches.
核心承诺
01Output precedes consumption Nothing can be consumed that was not first produced; nominal demand does not create physical capacity.
02Capital needs a physical counterpart Saving raises capacity only once it becomes tools; credit without real saving behind it moves resources rather than creating them.
03Prices are information Fix a price or a rate administratively or monetarily and the feedback channel that allocates resources is cut.
掌握路径
